Terms of use

Key is a program for Windows computers, made by Key Assistant ("we", "us"), that does things on your computer when you ask it to. By making an account or using Key you agree to these terms and to the Privacy page.
Your account
You need an account to use Key, made with an email address that is yours. Keep your password to yourself; what is done with your account is your responsibility.
Free messages
A free account can send a limited number of messages to Key each day, on each computer. The count starts again at midnight where you are. We set the number, and it can change.
Paid plans
A paid plan gives a higher daily number of messages, for a month (30 days) or a year (365 days) from when it is paid — or from the end of the plan you already have. The price is shown in Key before you pay, and payment is made through PayPal. A plan does not renew by itself; to carry on after it ends, buy it again.
No refunds
Payments are not refunded, unless the law where you live requires it.
What Key does on your computer
Key acts on your computer only when you ask it to, and you decide what you ask. Key can make mistakes: check anything that matters before you rely on it — a message before it is sent, a payment, a file that was changed.
Fair use
Do not use Key to break the law or to harm anyone, and do not try to get around the daily limits, get into other people's accounts, or attack Key's server.
When we step in
We can stop an account that breaks these terms. To fix a problem we can also switch off one of Key's tools or pause Key for everybody for a while.
No promises beyond these
Key is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available or free of mistakes, and as far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from using it.
Changes
We may change these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes; using Key after that means you accept the new terms.
